Eric is the Director of Asset Optimisation for North America, with 30+ years of experience in maintenance and reliability, operations and engineering. His career began at the Alcoa Deschambault aluminum smelter where he worked as a maintenance planner and reliability engineer. During this time, the site was recognized as a world class leader in maintenance and was awarded the North American Maintenance Excellence (NAME) award. Through his experience at this site, Eric learned the value of implementing and following maintenance and reliability best practices.
Eric then moved into different roles at other Alcoa sites as a process engineer and in maintenance management. Between his different roles with Alcoa, he had worked for a few years in engineering consulting with BPR, and for the last 17 years, he has been active in the asset management consulting business. Bringing expertise and competency in most asset management fields, Eric’s experience spans the mining, metallurgy, pulp and paper, food, manufacturing, construction and airport industries. He provides short- and long-term value for his clients, helping to sustain asset management improvements.
